The Actors Circle is a new project oriented to performance and creation of theatre shows. I conceived the idea of this project to further work with my long-time students within Instant Theatre Berlin.
The Actors Circle is a private group of actors that I cast for future shows of Instant Theatre Berlin. This gives them the chance to play in a professional environment with fellow expert actors, as they experience the thrill of playing multiple shows on stage.
The Actors Circle wants to be a midpoint between being an acting student and being a performing actor. Having spent most of my career in amateur/semipro acting companies, I’m aware of the differences in the approach when we work as students, compared to when we work as actors in regular productions.
With this project, I hope to add something new to the international performative scene of Berlin.
